FPC & Missoula Food Bank

Missoula Food Bank “We Nourish Community” The mission of the Missoula Food Bank is to respond to the emergency food needs of the hungry and work to reduce the incidence of hunger.  Each year the Food Bank distributes more than 250 tons of food–that’s enough to serve roughly 1,000 households a month!  Approximately one out of nine Missoula residents come through the Missoula Food Bank’s doors at least once a year. Volunteers are critical to their mission.  Here are some of the ways we can help:

  • Sorting and stocking food with your family;
  • Delivering food to the low-income senior citizens; and
  • Food drives (with or without a theme).

These are only a few ideas to help out our local Food Bank.  This service doesn’t cost anything–just a little hard work and a lot of love.  Please call Kristen Bowditch at 542-0367 or email kbowditch@centric.net for more information.
